The team at Sonlight reached out for help creating a free downloadable guide covering elections. The project requirements included: keeping it very simple but covering a series of different age ranges and be able to transmit big picture ideas about how the electoral system works in the United States.
This unit study covers a range of grades (ages 8-12+) and developmental levels. The 40+ pages include creative writing prompts, additional opportunities for research, coloring pages, copywork, hands-on activities, a word search, crossword puzzle, vocabulary and more.
